This paper discusses a new approach to publishing audiovisual materials and addresses the issue of soundtracking silent film contributions. The study measured time required for the optical conversion of scanned texts. A survey was conducted among archival employees, and an interview was held with Artificial Intelligence. The results of the study indicated that the processes under consideration effectively contribute to a higher quality presentation of archival materials. The research, conducted at the Archives of Television Slovenia, also included a conversation with Artificial Intelligence. This conversation demonstrated that the future of work in archives depends on the collaboration between employees and all forms of artificial intelligence as a tool for performing tasks.
