Notes
A story based on real events from the lives of lynxes that were caught in Slovakia and Romania and brought to Slovenia. The story is narrated by Maks the lynx and describes his childhood, an accident in which he broke his paw and would have died if people had not found him and greeted him. They transported him to Slovenia and set him free, where he faced new challenges, fighting for territory with other lynxes, hunting for food, meeting a sick lynx, running away from hunting dogs, crossing the highway and finally finding bridesmaid. The book contains black-and-white illustrations and 20 documentary color photographs that show the reader the life of lynxes, which is otherwise hidden from view.
