The book is intended for audiences of young students, Phd students, Biochemists, Chemists and Microbiologists. The series of books Biochemistry of the cell will bring overview of the cell data in important areas of the Biochemistry. The SECOND book in the series will describe evolution of chromatography methods. Several chromatography methods were developed, where molecules are separated based on stationary and mobile phase used. Chromatography is used in all areas of modern life, from food and beverage (water) processing to hospital laboratories and pharmaceutical industry. It may become invaluable tool to guarantee fresh uncontaminated water. Technology from 1940 made demineralized water possible with the help of media styrene cross linked with divynilbenzene. With development of methods and stationary medium it became a possibility to develop purification methods on analytical and industrial scale. One way of learning important steps in chromatography is trial and error. Without proper practical practice it is impossible to become a master of chromatography. With experiments, experienced chromatographer gains insight into chromatography medium, solvents, flow characteristics. In this way it is theoretically possible to forsee separation outcome.
