1895 Ljubljana earthquake
In the collection 1895 Ljubljana earthquake we present photographs that were taken by a professional photographer Wilhelm Helfer who was chosen for the task by the mayorship of Ljubljana. Photographs, preserved by the Pictorial Collection of the National and University Library, depict the damage caused by the destructive earthquake as well as the lives of people faced with the consequences.
