Modified social relations have to be mirrored in the social security system. Since ever it is its purpose to provide security from and in case of certain social risks, when income is reduced or costs are increased, in a system permeated with solidarity. Difficulties in adjusting to new social reality do not exist only at the national level, but also in the EU law, which coordinates social security systems in order to guarantee freedom of movement. Additionally, measures aiming to overcome the epidemic are boosting certain nonstandard work patterns and new benefits are emerging. The question is, whether these benefits could still be perceived as social security or does their legal nature consist with social compensation schemes, which are outside of the EU social security coordination rules</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Dinamičnost v družbi se kaže tudi z različnimi oblikami dela, ki odstopajo od nekdanjega standarda, ki je predstavljal temelj socialne varnosti. Spremenjenim razmerjem v družbi mora slediti tudi pravo socialne varnosti. Od nekdaj je njegov namen zagotavljati zaščito pred socialnimi tveganji in nadomestiti izpadli dohodek ali ublažiti povečane stroške ob nastanku socialnih primerov, v solidarnem sistemu. Težave pri prilagajanju novi družbeni resničnosti ne obstajajo samo na nacionalni ravni, temveč tudi v pravu EU, ki te sisteme socialne varnosti povezuje in omogoča svobodo gibanja. Poleg tega so ukrepi za zajezitev epidemije pospešili nekatere nestandardne oblike organizacije dela in privedli do številnih izvirnih dajatev.
