A source is a cylindrical vessel made of glass with a low recombination coefficient. Free electrons are produced and accelerated by an inductively coupled RF generator with the maximum output power of 700 W. The degree of the dissociation of hydrogen molecules and the flow of hydrogen atoms at the output throttle of the source are controlled by the effective pumping speed, the input flow of molecular hydrogen, and the output power of the RF generator. The flow of atomic hydrogen is measured with catalytic probes.
