Adam Friderik Reichardt's printing house in Ljubljana

Adam Friderik Reichardt (1701 or 1709–1757) became the owner of Mayr's Ljubljana printing press around 1731. After his death and until it was sold to Johann Georg Heptner his widow Anna ran the company. Reichardt's prints were in Slovenian, Latin, German, and Italian language. One of the most important works that came from his press is Steinberg's description of the Cerknica Lake with the title Gründliche Nachricht von dem and dem Inner-Crain gelegenen Czirknitzer-See from 1758.

The collection comprises a selection of Reichardt’s prints from the National and University Library and the Ljubljana City Library that were suitable for digitisation.
