One of the goals in the development of the Slovenian electronic archives in the e-ARH.si: ESS 2016–2021 project is to enable access to archives for handicapped through modern technologies. When designing a virtual archival reading room, guidelines for making archival records available to handicapped were taken into account.however that was not sufficient, as archival records must be prepared or adjusted for use by handicapped beforehand. The authors present good practices in the adaptation of different types of arhival records for all target groups (blind, visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing).
