Due to the intertwining/connection of administrative management among various regulatory bodies, judicial authorities, educational institutions ... the same types of documents are stored at various creators of current and archival records. Consequently, the same question often arises during appraisal of the same type of records on whether to define them as archival at all administrative bodies, or solely at the unit of the administrative body, or at the administrative body which initiated the matter, or request. Authors shall present the duplication of documents which were and are created in the field of administrative-judicial civil registers. Based on the already acquired archival records at the Historical Archives Celje, the research of records’ processing procedure and storage at the register office of the Celje Administrative Unit, the Celje Social Work Centre and the District Courts, the authors shall present the intertwining with respect to the storage of the same type of documents and attempt to find a solution for their appraisal.
