VESTNIK SLOVENSKA ŽUPNIJA SV. GREGORIJA VELIKEGA | ST. GREGORY THE GREAT SLOVENIAN PARISH 8/62 DOŽIVETJE PUŠČAVE Številka - Number / Leto - Year Danes je prva postna nedelja, milosten čas, čas priprave na veliko 22. 2. 2026 noč. While our list highlights the volunteers present on the night of the event, there were many additional hours spent behind the scenes wrapping boxes, planning games, preparing ZONKS, and decorating the hall to cre- ate a true game show-style Pustovanje vibe. Thank you to Marianne S., Trish P., Elka P., Sonya P., Derek P., Angie H., as well as some additional muscle who helped with tables and chairs — Johnny H., Matt F., Steven H., Eric S., Gerry F., Amanda N., and of course Fr. Drago, who filled in all the gaps where needed. We hope that those who attended this year’s celebration will spread the word so that next year’s event can be even more successful. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this event. And to anyone with a great idea — come and share it with us, because all it takes is one idea to spark the evolution of an old tradition into an even better new one.
