"Prav imaš, dekle," se je—že dobre volje — nasmehnil Rorman in stopil za njo. "Ali nisi nič žejen, Miha?" je Papež dvignil poln kozarec. Rorman, ki je bil že med vrati v sosedno sobo, se je ozrl in pomežiknil Baragi: "Preveč sem razgret, da bi sedajle pil mrzlo vino. Ima gospod poštar nekaj boljšega za prvi požirek." Call DOrchester 3-2355 or PLaza 2-1165 Feller Apponteđ March of Dimes Chairman CLEVELAND —Bobby Feller, aoe of the Cleveland Indians mound staff since 1936 and major league strike-out king, is going to pitch against polio in the 1956 March of Dimes. Feller has accepted appointment as volunteer state chairman for the March of Dimes campaign in Ohio, Basil O'Connor, president of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, announced here. The famous fastballer will lead the efforts of county cam paign directors and other volunteers throughout the state as the fight against polio approaches a final and critical stage. "The same leadership and enthusiasm you have shown in your illustrious career will be of tremendous value to our thousands of volunteers in Ohio," O'Connor told Feller in making the appointment. "The fight against polio is far from finished, we must continue research for the best possible vaccine and we must meet our obligation to the many for whom a vaccine has come too late," O'Connor added. Feller, father of three boys who makes his home in Gates Mills, Cleveland suburb, said he probably would call a statewide meeting of March of Dimes leaders shortly after the close of the major league baseball season to lay plans for the January campaign. "I have visited many children's hospital wards and I've seen what polio does to our boys and girls," Feller said, "As a parent I have a natural interest in seeing the polio threat ended." He added there are "more than 5,000 polio patients in Ohio being aided by the National Foundation." Feller succeeds Richard L. Kroesen, Cleveland sports figure, who has been state chairman for the past 12 years. , OBITUARIES Leskovec, Frank — of 16214 Grovewood Avenue. 50 years of age. Son of Frances. ' South Pacific" Extended For Fourth Week "South Pacific" is being held over for a fourth week through Sunday, July 24, at Musicarni-val's big blue tent theatre near ThistleDown racetrack in War-rensville Heights. Unable to fill the demand for tickets during the scheduled three week run of the great Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Producer John L. Price Jr. arranged some careful reshuffling to permit the additional 7 performances. This realignment means that "Fledermaus" will be presented for one week only from July 25 through 31st with the announced schedule returning to normal on August 1st as "Bri-gadoon" takes over the arena stage. Thus, the thousands who have been unable to secure tickets for "South Pacific" will have a fresh oportunity to see the Musicarnival production which earned rave reviews from critics in Cleveland as well as surrounding cities. First of all I must say thank you and congratulations to the members of SNPJ Circle No. 2 music chorus for their wonderful behavior and co-operation shown at the SNPJ farm on July 3rd. A fine job was done and the youngsters did a very good job singing especially when considering the heat and the amount of time they have been singing together. Congratulations, to a fine group of youngsters. Along with the first public appearance of the SNPJ Circle No. 2 music chorus the SNPJ celebration at the farm was also a "FIRST" for me. It was the first time I have visited the farm and I must agree with everyone else that it really is swell. I had a wonderful time an(J believe me even though many people had told me what a nice place the SNPJ farm was I saw more than what I could imagine. This was the first time I had such an opportunity to be among so many Slovenian friends and I must say I had a very nice time. Even though the heat was terrific the dance floor was full and the music was perfect. I don't believe it would be. possible to express my thanks to each individual so may I take this opportunity to say thanks for myself and on behalf of Circle No. 2 to the fine people who made this event possible. I am sure that every member of our chorus had a very nice day. Stephanie J. Jonas Circle Director. Just when the insect world was starting to get accustomed to the old stand-by lines of killer sprays, chemists have come up with a new one that is hailed as the most promising basis insecticide material to be developed in over a decade. This is Strobane, a new chemical highly effective against many species of household insects and a broad range of agricultural pests. This material which has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for use in household sprays and aerosols, is a safe and effective killer of many insect pests such as flies, moths, roaches, mosquitos, bedbugs, fleas and many of the bugs that attack plant life. Strobane is now conveniently available in Sohio aerosol cans at grocery, hardware and drug stores, and at all Sohio stations throughout Ohio.
