A., Trieste - 1952 ALLIED MILITARY GOVERNMENT British - United States Zone-Free Territory of Trieste Order No. 40 PROVISIONS CONCERNING SOCIAL INSURANCE OF WORKERS EMPLOYED WITH „SEZIONE LAVORI AIUTO AI DISOCCUPATI“ (SELAD) (AMENDMENT TO ORDER No. 197/1951) WHEREAS it is considered necessary to amend the provisions concerning social insurance of workers employed with „Sezione Lavori Aiuto ai Disoccupati“ (Selad), contained in Order No. 197, dated 31 December 1951, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces, NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN L. WHITELAW, Btigadier General U.S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE I Section 2, second paragraph, of Article VII of Order No. 197, dated 31 December 1951, is hereby amended to read as follows : „Workers employed with „Sezione Lavori Aiuto ai Disoccupati“ (SELAD) are „hereby exempted from the compulsory social insurance against unemployment as well „as from the payment of the contributions due to „Ente Nazionale Orfani Lavoratori „Italiani“ (ENAOLI). „Sezione Lavori Aiuto ai Disoccupati“ (SELAD), however, shall „pay on behalf of the workers employed by them the contributions relative to insurance „for old age and invalidism, tuberculosis, sickness and workmen’s dompensations, accord -„ing to the law provisions in force.“ ARTICLE II This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette and shall be operative as from 31 December 1951. Army Ref.: LDIA/52131 Director General, Cftsfl Affairs Order No. 41 AMENDMENT TO THE CONSOLIDATED TEXT OF LAWS ON PUBLIC SAFETY WITH REGARD TO SHOPS („PUBBLICI ESERCIZI“) WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend the Consolidated Text of laws on Public Safety, approved by R.D. 18 June 1931, No. 773, with regard to shops („pubblici esercizi“) as amended by General Order No. 80, (kited, 12 November 1946, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces', NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN L. WHITELAW, Brigadier General U.S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE I Article I of General Order No. 80, dated 12 November 1946, is hereby repealed and substituted by the following: „ARTICLE I „PROVISIONS IN FAVOUR OF CLUBS OF WELFARE BODIES „Shops („spacci“) attached to clubs of bodies, the welfare purposes of which have „been recognized by the Department of Social Assistance, Allied Military Government, „shall hot be included in the limited number provided for by art. 95 of the Consolidated „Text of laws on Public Safety, approved by R.D. 18 June 1931, No. 773. „The sale of beverages, containing more than 21 per cent of alcohol in volume „shall be prohibited in the above mentioned’shops.“ ARTICLE II This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Army Ref. : LDfAfS2j29 Director General, Civil Affaire Order Nò. 42 APPOINTMENT OF THE MEMBERS OF THE DISCIPLINARY COUNCILS AND OF THE ADMINISTERING COMMISSIONS OF „CASSE SPECIALI DI PREVIDENZA E SOCCORSO DELLE AZIENDE ESERCENTI TRAMVIE IN CONCESSIONE“ WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to make provisions governing the appointment of the members of the Disciplinary Goimcils and of the Administering Commissions of the „Casse speciali di previdenza e soccorso delle aziende esercenti tramvie in concessione“, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by British-United States Forces, NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOHN L. WHLTELAW, Brigadier General U.S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE I Pending revision of the provisions governing the juridical treatment of the personnel of concerns operating tramways under concession („Aziende esercenti tramvie in regime di concessione“), the members of the Disciplinary Councils, of the Administering Commissions of the „Casse di soccorso“ and of the Administrative Committees of the „Casse speciali di previdenza“ established in said concerns, shall, regardless of art. 54 of Annex A and of art. 5 of Annex B of R. D. 8 January 1931, No. 148, be appointed by the Chief, Department of Public Works and Utilities, Allied Military Government, from among the employers and the employed personnel of each concern. Nothing is hereby changed with regard to the appointment of the Presidents and Vice--presidents of such disciplinary and administrative organs. ARTICLE II The statutes of the „Casse di soccorso“ and of the „Casse speciali di previdenza“, already approved, shall be considered as temporarily amended in accordance with the foregoing Article. ARTICLE III All provisions contrary to this Order are hereby repealed. ARTICLE IV This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
