AVGUST 2004 30 AUGUST 2004 št./No 238 17 RUDARSTVO IN PREDELOVALNE DEJAVNOSTI MINING AND MANUFACTURING št./No 16 INDUSTRIJSKA PROIZVODNJA, SLOVENIJA, MAJ 2004 INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION, SLOVENIA, MAY 2004 Industrijska podjetja so maja proizvedla za 11,3 % več industrijskih proizvodov kot v aprilu in tako lansko povprečje presegla za 11,4 %. Letošnja majska proizvodnja je presegla proizvodnjo v istem mesecu lanskega leta za 12 %. V prvih petih mesecih letošnjega leta je bil v industrijskih dejavnostih dosežen za 4,7 % večji obseg industrijske proizvodnje kot v enakem obdobju lanskega leta. V tej primerjavi je bila proizvodnja višja tudi v vseh treh področjih industrijske dejavnosti: v rudarstvu za 5,4 %, v predelovalnih dejavnostih za 4,6 %, v oskrbi z elektriko, plinom in vodo pa za 5,5 %. In May 2004 industrial production was up by 11.3% compared to April 2004 and it thus exceeded last year’s average by 11.4%. In comparison with May 2003, production in May 2004 was 12% higher. In the period of the first five months of this year industrial production increased by 4.7% compared to the same period of last year. In this comparison production was also higher in all three sectors of industrial activities: in mining by 5.4%, in manufacturing by 4.6% and in electricity, gas and water supply by 5.5%. Zaloge industrijskih proizvodov so se maja v primerjavi z aprilom povečale za 6,9 % in tako lanske povprečne zaloge presegle za 21 %, zaloge v lanskem maju pa za 16,1 %. Raven zalog je v prvih petih mesecih letošnjega leta lansko petmesečno raven presegla za 16,3 % (v rudarstvu za 164,6 % in v predelovalnih dejavnostih za 12,8 %). The stocks of industrial products in May 2004 rose by 6.9% compared to April 2004, so that they were 21% bigger than the average stocks of 2003 and 16.1% bigger than stocks in May 2003. The level of stocks in the first five months of 2004 exceeded the level of the same period of 2003 by 16.3% (in mining by 164.6% and in manufacturing by 12.8%). Število zaposlenih oseb v industrijskih dejavnostih se je maja v primerjavi z aprilom zvišalo za 0,1 % in bilo tako za 1 % nižje od lanskega povprečja. Primerjava z istim mesecem lanskega leta je v maju pokazala 1,3-odstotno zmanjšanje števila zaposlenih. V obdobju prvih petih mesecev letošnjega leta je bilo v industrijskih dejavnostih zaposlenih za 1,8 % manj oseb kot v enakem obdobju lanskega leta. Compared to May 2003 the number of persons in paid employment decreased by 1.3%. In the first five months of this year the number of persons in paid employment in industry decreased by 1.8% compared to the same period of the previous year. Raven produktivnosti je v prvih petih mesecih letošnjega leta presegla produktivnost v enakem lanskem obdobju za 6,6 %, produktivnost v maju pa je lansko povprečje presegla za 12,5 %. The level of productivity in the first five months of 2004 exceeded the level of the same period of 2003 by 6.6%, while productivity in May 2003 was up by 12.5% compared to the average productivity of 2003. Industrial Production KOMENTAR COMMENT Maja letos se je obseg proizvodnje v industrijskih dejavnostih v primerjavi z aprilom povečal za 11,3 % in tako presegel obseg proizvodnje lanskega maja za 12 %. Letošnja majska proizvodnja je bila v primerjavi z lanskim povprečjem višja za 11,4 %, v obdobju prvih petih mesecev letošnjega leta pa je bil v povprečju dosežen za 4,7 % višji obseg proizvodnje kot v enakem obdobju lanskega leta. Obseg proizvodnje je bil maja letos v primerjavi z aprilom višji tudi v vseh treh osnovnih dejavnostih po namenu porabe proizvodov. V tej primerjavi je najbolj zrasla proizvodnja proizvodov za široko porabo, in sicer za 13,3 %. Primerjava z istim mesecem lanskega leta pa je v maju pokazala največji porast v proizvodnji proizvodov za vmesno porabo, in sicer za 18,4 %. V tej primerjavi je bil obseg proizvodnje v proizvodnji proizvodov za široko porabo višji za 4,5 %, obseg proizvodnje proizvodov za investicije pa tudi višji, in sicer za 10,5 %. V obdobju prvih petih mesecev letošnjega leta je bil tako v povprečju obseg zalog pri proizvajalcih za 16,3 % višji kot v enakem lanskem obdobju. In May 2004 producer’s stocks of industrial products rose by 6.9% compared to April 2004, by 21% compared to last year’s average and by 16.1% compared to May 2003. In the first five months of 2004 the level of stocks was up by 16.3% compared to the same period of 2003. V področju rudarstva je bilo v maju v primerjavi z aprilom zabeleženo 15,7-odstotno povečanje zalog, v primerjavi z lanskim majem pa so se zaloge v tem področju povečale kar za 219,7 % in tako lanske povprečne zaloge presegle za 126,4 %. Tudi v predelovalnih dejavnostih so se zaloge maja v primerjavi z aprilom povečale (za 6,4 %) in tako presegle lanske majske zaloge za 12,1 %. Znotraj predelovalnih dejavnosti je bilo povečanje zalog največje v proizvodnji električne in optične opreme, kjer so letošnje majske zaloge presegle zaloge istega meseca lanskega leta kar za 96,6 %. In May 2004 stocks in mining and quarrying were up compared to April 2004 by 15.7%, while compared to May 2003 they were up by as much as 219.7% and compared to last year’s average by 126.4%. Stocks in manufacturing increased by 6.4% compared to April 2004 and by 12.1% compared to May 2003. The review by subsections of manufacturing showed the greatest increase in manufacture of electrical and optical equipment, where May 2004 stocks were up by 96.6% compared to May 2003 stocks. Število zaposlenih v industrijskih dejavnostih se je maja v primerjavi z aprilom zvišalo za 0,1 % in tako za lanskim povprečjem zaostalo za 1 %, za lanskim majem pa za 1,3 %. Število zaposlenih je bilo maja v primerjavi z aprilom v rudarstvu višje za 0,5 %, v oskrbi z elektriko, plinom, paro in toplo vodo je ostalo ostalo na enaki ravni, v predelovalnih dejavnostih pa se je prav tako zvišalo za 0,1 %. Znotraj predelovalnih dejavnosti se je število zaposlenih maja v primerjavi z aprilom relativno najbolj znižalo v proizvodnji koksa, naftnih derivatov in jedrskega goriva (za 2,2 %). In May 2004 the number of persons in paid employment in industrial activities rose by 0.1% compared to April 2004 and was thus down by 1% compared the average of 2003 and by 1.3% compared to May 2003. Compared to April 2004 employment in mining and quarrying was up by 0.5%, in electricity, gas and water supply it remained the same and in manufacturing it was up by 0.1%. As regards subsections of manufacturing, in the May 2004-April 2004 comparison the number of persons in paid employment fell the most in manufacture of coke, petroleum products and nuclear fuel (by 2.2%). Produktivnost v industrijskih dejavnostih je maja presegla lansko povprečno produktivnost za 12,5 %. V prvih petih mesecih letošnjega leta pa je bila dosežena za 6,6 % višja produktivnost kot v enakem obdobju lanskega leta.
