INFORMACIJSKA POLITIKA Breda Filo, Maribor UDK659.2.011 Povzetek Referat obravnava informacijsko politiko z vidika knjižničnega inform acijskega sistema. Predstavlja m ednarodna prizadevanja za informacijsko politiko, oriše značilnosti informacijske družbe, elem ente informacijske politike, identifikacijo inform acijskih potreb, ustanavljanje informacijskih služb in pospeševanje učinko­ vite uporabe ter instrum ente informacijske politike. Referat nakazuje m etode za oblikovanje inform acijske politike. UDC 659.2.011 S u mm a r y The paper deals w ith inform ation policy from the library inform ation system 's point of view. International efforts for inform ation policy are exposed. Further it outlines characteristics of the inform ation society and elem ents for inform ation policy as follows: identification of inform ation needs, foundation of inform ation services, stim ulation of effective use of inform ation, and instrum ents of inform a­ tion policy.
