Key words: Hemiptera, Issidae, Issini, Western Palaearctic, distribution Izvleček - NOVE NAJDBE NEKAJ ZAHODNOPALEARKTIČNIH ŠKRŽATKOV DRUŽINE ISSIDAE (HEMIPTERA: FULGOROIDEA) Navedeni so novi podatki o razširjenosti 16 vrst družine Issidae. Ključne besede: Hemiptera, Issidae, Issini, Zahodna Palearktika, razširjenost Introduction During my study of Western Palaearctic issid fauna several new records of generic and species level were discovered. Thus, for the first time the family Issidae is recorded from Afghanistan, the genus Kovacsiana Synave, 1956 - from the Palaearctic Region, the genus Conosimus Mulsant et Rey, 1855 - from Morocco, the genus Issus Fabricius, 1803 - from Turkey, the genus Mycterodus Spinola, 1839 -from Iraq, and the genus Kervillea Bergevin, 1918 - from the Caucasus. All previous records of Kovacsiana from the Mediterranean (Dlabola, 1985, 1986, 1989) belong to the genus Latilica Emeljanov, 1971 (Gnezdilov, 2003, 2004; Gnezdilov & Mazzoni, 2004). Several species are recorded from Montenegro and the Republic of Macedonia in course of formal documenting of species distribution in the countries of the former Yugoslavia. One of the rarest Mediterranean species -Pseudohemisphaerius piceus (Puton, 1884) is recorded from its type locality in Greece (Parnassus Mt.) for the first time during last 100 years. Material and methods The materials examined are deposited in the following collections: CAH - M. Asche & H. Hoch collection, Berlin, Germany; ZMHB - Zoologisches Museum, Humboldt Universität, Berlin, Germany; SNSD - Staatliche Naturhistorische Sammlungen Dresden, Museum für Tierkunde, Germany; HNHM - Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest, Hungary; MMBC - Moravian Museum, Brno, Czech Republic; NMPC - National Museum of Natural History, Praha, Czech Republic; MNHN - Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, France; ZIN -Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, Russia.
