LISA (LIBRARY A N D IN FO R M A TIO N , SCIENCE ABSTRACTS) Saša Zupanič, Maribor UDK 02 :002.6 UDK 6 5 9 .2 :0 0 2 .6 Povzetek Prispevek govori o podatkovni zb irki LISA, ki s svojim širokim pokrivanjem prim arne knjižnično - inform acijske literature predstavlja trenutno enega v o d il­ nih svetovnih inform acijskih orodij za bibliotekarske in inform acijske strokov­ njake. Na začetku so na kratko prikazane še druge, v svetu priznane inform acijske službe, podobne LISA, čemur sledi kratek opis nastanka in razvoja LISA. Pouda­ rek je na vsebinski stru ktu ri ter možnostih njene vsestranske uporabe, kam or sodijo tako nudenje SDI p ro filo v kot obširne bibliom etrične analize stanja in razvoja knjižnično - inform acijskih znanosti v posameznih nacionalnih ali med­ narodnih okvirih. Precej pozornosti je posvečeno danes najrazvitejši in uporabni­ ku najprijaznejši o b liki LISA - na kompaktnem disku. V zaključku so prikazane možnosti vključitve naše edine bibliotekarske strokovne revije Knjižnica v podat­ kovno zbirko LISA. UDC 02 : 002.6 UDC 6 5 9 .2 :0 0 2 .6 Summary This assignment outlines LISA (Library & Inform ation Science Abstracts) data­ base which w id e ly covers p rim ary Library and Inform ation Science literature, being one o f the w orld leading secondary inform ation tools for Library and Inform ation scientists at the time. Other sim ilar inform ation tools as w ell as the development o f LISA are briefly described. The anatomy o f its contents and possibilities of its universal use, such as provision o f SDI profiles or detailed bibliom etric analyses of national or international state and developm ent o f Libra­ ry and Inform ation Science is draw n. A considerable part o f the article deals w ith the most developed and the user- friendliest form o f LISA - LISA on CD-ROM. The paper is concluded w ith possibilities for inclusion o f the Slovene single profesional librarianship journal "Knjižnica" in the LISA database.
