Sociološke in psihološke raziskave in praksa pa kažejo na vse večjo potrebo ljudi po m edo­ sebni komunikaciji, ki se dom onstrira zlasti v hum anem dialogu. Bibliotekarski dialog naj bi po logoterapevtskih načelih upošteval pet pravil: prisluhniti, selek­ tivno pritrditi, ostati realen, odgovoriti na človeški ravni, brati in pripovedovati. According to logotherapeutic principles, library dialog has to consider five rules as follows: to listen, to consent selectively, to rem ain realistic, to respond on hum an level, to read and to narrate.
