Letter to the editor Further clarification of scientific misconduct in Acta Dermatovenerologica Alpina, Pannonica et Adriatica Letter to the editorFurther clarification of scientific misconduct in Acta Dermatovenerologica Alpina, Pannonica et Adriatica D. Tamiolakis Dear Sirs, In reply to the editorial (1) and two retractions connected with duplicate (2) and triplicate (3) publications recently published in this journal, I would like to inform you that I assume full responsibility for both duplicate and triplicate publication and that I am the sole person responsible for this scientific misconduct. I also additionally confirm that N. Papadopoulos (the corresponding author of both papers) and all other coauthors of duplicate and triplicate publications were fully unaware of this scientific misconduct and had no connection with it. I left Thrace and Aleksandoroupoli in 2004 and, if you check the e-mail address from which the papers were submitted, you will see that both manuscripts were sent from my personal e-mail address in Chania, Crete, and not from the corresponding author's address (N. Papadopoulos). References - 1. Poljak M. Editorial: Acta Dermatovenerologica Alpina, Pannonica et Adriatica and scientific misconduct. Acta Dermatovenerol Alp Panonica Adriat. 2009;18:91-3. 2.
