PREDGOVOR Zaradi hitrega razvoja umetne inteligence in z njo povezanih orodij se je pojavilo veliko novih izrazov, ki odslikavajo njeno rabo na različnih področjih, vključno s področjem poslovnega sveta. Ker so ti izrazi praviloma v angleščini, je nastala potreba po ustreznih izrazih tudi v slovenščini. Ta dvojezični angleško-slovenski slovar izrazov sem pripravila kot pomoč študentom in strokovnjakom s področja ekonomije in poslovnih ved ter vsem ostalim, ki se srečujejo ali pa se še bodo srečevali s terminologijo področij, kot so management, človeški viri, finance in bančništvo, marketing, podjetništvo in logistika. Poleg tega so v slovar vključeni tudi izrazi, povezani z zakonodajo in etiko umetne inteligence, kar odraža interdisciplinarno naravo umetne inteligence in njen velik vpliv na sodobne poslovne prakse. Pri sestavljanju tega slovarja sem veliko pozornosti namenila njegovi uporabnosti na različnih področjih ekonomije in poslovanja. Slovar tako vključuje izraze, ki kažejo na izjemno pestrost vključevanja umetne inteligence v poslovne procese na različnih nivojih in zgoraj omenjenih področjih. Pri prevajanju in oblikovanju slovenskih izrazov sem se v največji možni meri držala osnovnih načel oblikovanja terminologije, predvsem načela gospodarnosti in jezikovnosistemske ustreznosti. Glede načela ustaljenosti velja izpostaviti, da gre v veliko primerih za novonastale izraze, ki pa imajo v svojem jedru že uveljavljene slovenske izraze. Ti novonastali izrazi morda v slovenščini še niso splošno uveljavljeni, zato pa njihova vključitev v slovar lahko prispeva k bogatitvi strokovnega diskurza na obravnavanem področju. Seveda pa ta slovar še zdaleč ne pomeni dokončnega in vseobsegajočega seznama izrazov, ki združujejo umetno inteligenco in poslovni svet, saj se področje rabe umetne inteligence v poslovne namene razvija z izjemno hitrostjo. Posledično nastajajo tudi vedno novi izrazi, ki so povezani z različnimi gospodarskimi panogami in poslovnimi procesi. Zaradi tega bo čez čas zagotovo prišlo do nujne nadgradnje slovarja oziroma njegove razširitve in prilagajanj. Želim, da bi slovar služil ne samo kot praktični vodnik po obravnavani terminologiji, temveč tudi kot odskočnica za nadaljnje raziskovanje te terminologije in za dialog o potencialih in izzivih, ki jih umetna inteligenca prinaša na področju ekonomije in poslovanja. Slovar ima torej več namenov: je učno orodje za tiste, ki si želijo razširiti besedišče, povezano z umetno inteligenco v dvojezičnem 5 kontekstu, in je referenca za strokovnjake, ki se orientirajo po terminologiji umetne inteligence v poslovnem okolju. Da bi še povečala njegovo izobraževalno vrednost, sem slovarju v prilogi dodala jezikovne vaje, ki so namenjene krepitvi poznavanja in praktične uporabe izrazov, zajetih v slovarju.
