JULIJ 2004 14 JULY 2004 št./No 204 17 RUDARSTVO IN PREDELOVALNE DEJAVNOSTI MINING AND MANUFACTURING št./No 14 INDUSTRIJSKA PROIZVODNJA, SLOVENIJA, APRIL 2004 INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION, SLOVENIA, APRIL 2004 Industrijska proizvodnja je bila aprila 2004 za 11,3 % manjša kot v marcu 2004 in za 0,9 % manjša kot v aprilu 2003. Industrijska proizvodnja v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta pa je bila glede na lansko v enakem lanskem obdobju v povprečju višja za 2,9 %. V tej primerjavi je bilo zabeleženo povečanje proizvodnje v rudarstvu (za 3,1 %), v predelovalnih dejavnostih (za 2,9 %) in v področju oskrbe z elektriko, plinom, paro in vodo (za 1,9 %). In April 2004 industrial production was down by 11.3% compared to March 2004. It was also 0.9% lower than in April 2003. In the period of the first four months of 2004 industrial production increased by 2.9% compared to the same period of 2003. In this comparison production was higher in mining and quarrying by 3.1%, in manufacturing by 2.9% and in electricity, gas and water supply by 1.9%. Zaloge industrijskih proizvodov so se aprila 2004 v primerjavi z zalogami v marcu 2004 znižale za 4,1 %, kljub temu pa so bile za 13,2 % večje od lanskih povprečnih zalog in za 12,1 % večje od zalog v lanskem aprilu. Raven zalog v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta je bila v primerjavi z enakim lanskim obdobjem višja za 16,3 %. The stocks of industrial products in April 2004 decreased by 4.1% compared to the previous month, but they were 13.2% bigger than the average stocks of 2003 and also 12.1% bigger than the stocks in April 2003. The level of stocks in the first four months of this year exceeded the level of the same period of the previous year by the 16.3%. Število zaposlenih oseb v industrijskih dejavnostih je bilo v aprilu 2004 za 0,1 % nižje kot v marcu 2004 in za 1,1 % nižje od lanskega povprečja. Primerjava z lanskim aprilom je pokazala 1,6- odstotno zmanjšanje števila zaposlenih oseb. V obdobju prvih štirih mesecev letošnjega leta je bilo v industrijskih dejavnostih zaposlenih za 2,0 % manj oseb kot v enakem obdobju lanskega leta. In April 2004 the number of persons in paid employment in industry decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous month and it was 1.1% lower than the average of 2003. Compared to April 2003 the number of persons in paid employment was 1.6% lower. In the period of the first four months of this year the number of persons in paid employment decreased by 2.0% compared to the same period of the previous year. Produktivnost je bila v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta v primerjavi z enakim lanskim obdobjem višja za 5,0 %. Z indeksom industrijske proizvodnje spremljamo tekoče mesečno gibanje obsega industrijske proizvodnje. Na indeksih skupne industrijske proizvodnje se posredno odraža vpliv različnih makroekonomskih dejavnikov. Indeksi proizvodnje nižjih ravni omogočajo analize gibanj v posameznih industrijskih dejavnostih. Pri oblikovanju modelov smo upoštevali časovno obdobje od januarja 1992 do januarja 2004. Na grafu je prikazan trend-cikel, ki kaže osnovno smer razvoja. Pri trend-ciklu je izključen vpliv slučajne komponente. V tabelah so prikazane desezonirane vrednosti. To so vrednosti, pri katerih je izključen vpliv sezone, tj. vrednosti, ki vsebujejo trend-cikel in naključno komponento. Pri desezoniranju indeksov smo upoštevali tudi vpliv delovnih dni, vpliv velike noči in vpliv slovenskih praznikov, seveda pri tistih časovnih vrstah, pri katerih so bili omenjeni vplivi statistično značilni. Zaradi narave podatkov smo spremenili modele pri nekaterih časovnih vrstah. Prav tako pa smo zaradi neustreznih vrednosti statistik, ki testirajo kakovost desezoniranja, z marčevskimi podatki spremenili model pri desezoniranju produktivnosti. The indices were seasonally adjusted with the Tramo/Seats method, which is based on ARIMA models. In designing the models we took into account the period from January 1992 to January 2004. The chart shows the trend-cycle, which indicates the main direction of evolution. The trend- cycle excludes the influence of the random component. Tables show seasonally adjusted values. These are values in which the influence of the season was eliminated, i.e. values that include the trend-cycle and the random component. In seasonal adjustment of indices we also took into account the influence of workdays, Easter and other national holidays, of course in those time series for which the mentioned influences were statistically significant. Due to the nature of data, we have changed models in some time series. Due to inadequate values of statistics testing the quality of seasonal adjustment, we have also changed the model of seasonal adjustment of productivity. Industrial Production KOMENTAR COMMENT V letošnjem aprilu so podjetja v industrijskih dejavnostih v primerjavi z letošnjim marcem proizvedla za 11,3 % manj industrijskih proizvodov, zaostala pa so tudi za proizvodnjo v lanskem aprilu, in sicer za 0,9 %. Kljub temu je bila lanska povprečna proizvodnja presežena za 0,1 %. Industrijska proizvodnja v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta je presegla lansko v istem obdobju za 2,9 %. In April 2004 industrial production was down by 11.3% compared to March 2004 and by 0.9% compared to April 2003. Nevertheless, the average production of 2003 was exceeded by 0.1%. In the first four months of this year industrial production increased by 2.9% over the same period of last year. Industrijska proizvodnja se je aprila v primerjavi s prejšnjim mesecem zmanjšala tudi v vseh treh osnovnih dejavnostih po namenu porabe proizvodov (najbolj v proizvodnji proizvodov za široko porabo, za 18 %). Zaostanek za proizvodnjo, doseženo v lanskem aprilu, je bil v proizvodnji proizvodov za široko porabo 7,9-odstoten. V proizvodnji proizvodov za investicije je bila aprila v tej primerjavi dosežena 4,6-odstotna rast, v proizvodnji proizvodov za vmesno porabo pa 2,2-odstotna rast. Primerjava proizvodnje prvih štirih mesecev letošnjega leta z istimi meseci lanskega leta je pokazala rast proizvodnje pri proizvodih za investicije (za 6,4 %) in pri proizvodih za vmesno porabo (za 5,3 %). Comparison of the first four months of this year with the same period of last year shows that production was up in capital goods industries by 6.4% and in intermediate goods industries by 5.3%. Čeprav se je proizvodnja v področju rudarstvo aprila v primerjavi z marcem zmanjšala za 19,2 %, je proizvodnja v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta presegla lansko v enakem obdobju, in sicer za 3,1 %. Aprila letos je bil upad proizvodnje zabeležen tudi v predelovalnih dejavnostih, in sicer v primerjavi z letošnjo marčno in lansko aprilsko proizvodnjo – za 11,1 % oz. 0,7 %. Letošnja štirimesečna proizvodnja pa je bila večja kot lanska v enakem obdobju, in sicer za 2,9 %. Obseg proizvodnje v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta je proizvodnjo v enakem lanskem obdobju presegel za 1,9 %. Zaloge industrijskih proizvodov so se aprila v primerjavi z marcem zmanjšale za 4,1 %, še vedno pa so bile večje od lanskega povprečja (za 13,2 %) in od zalog v lanskem aprilu (za 12,1 %). V letošnjih prvih štirih mesecih so bile zaloge v primerjavi z enakim lanskim obdobjem večje za 16,3 %. V aprilu so zaloge v primerjavi z marcem ostale na enaki ravni v proizvodnji proizvodov za investicije, zmanjšale pa so se v proizvodnji proizvodov za široko porabo (za 2,9 %) in v proizvodnji proizvodov za vmesno porabo (za 6,7 %). V proizvodnji proizvodov za investicije so bile letošnje aprilske zaloge večje od lanskega povprečja kar za 101,5 %, od zalog v lanskem aprilu pa za 82,7 %. In the first four months of 2004 the level of stocks was up by 16.3% compared to the same period of 2003. April 2004 stocks in capital goods industries remained the same as in March 2004, while in consumer goods industries they were down by 2.9% and in intermediate goods industries by 6.7%. Stocks in capital goods industries were up by as much as 101.5% compared to last year’s average and by 82.7% compared to April last year. Letošnje aprilske zaloge v rudarstvu so bile v primerjavi z letošnjim marcem manjše za 1,3 %, v primerjavi z lanskim aprilom pa večje kar za 208,3 %, zaloge v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta pa so bile večje od zalog v enakem lanskem obdobju za 152,3 %. V predelovalnih dejavnostih so se zaloge v aprilu v primerjavi z zalogami v marcu zmanjšale za 4,2 %, obenem pa so bile od lanskih povprečnih zalog večje za 10,5 %, od zalog lanskega aprila pa za 8,6 %. Primerjava zalog prvih štirih mesecev letošnjega leta z enakim lanskim obdobjem pa je pokazala 13,1-odstotno povečanje. Pregled po podpodročjih predelovalnih dejavnosti je pokazal, da so se zaloge v aprilu v primerjavi z marcem povečale le v treh podpodročjih (najbolj v proizvodnji električne in optične opreme za 11,3 %), zmanjšale pa so se v enajstih podpodročjih (najbolj v proizvodnji vozil in plovil – za 14,6 %). In April 2004 stocks in mining and quarrying were down compared to March 2004 by 1.3%, while compared to April 2003 they were up by as much as 208.3%. Stocks in the first four months of this year were up by 152.3% compared to the same period of last year. In manufacturing, stocks in April 2004 decreased by 4.2% compared to March 2004, but were 10.5% up compared to 2003 average and by 8.6% compared to April 2003. In the first four months of 2004 stocks grew by 13.1% over the same period of 2003. The review by subsections of manufacturing showed increase compared to March 2004 only in three subsections (the highest in manufacture of electrical and optical equipment, by 11.3%), while decrease was registered in eleven subsections (the highest in manufacture of transport equipment, by 14.6%). Število zaposlenih v industrijskih dejavnostih se je aprila letos v vseh treh primerjavah zmanjšalo: v primerjavi z letošnjim marcem za 0,1 %, v primerjavi z lanskim aprilom za 1,6 %, glede na lansko povprečje pa za 1,1 %. Število zaposlenih oseb se je aprila v primerjavi s prejšnjim mesecem zmanjšalo v področju rudarstvo (za 0,5 %) in v področju oskrbe z elektriko, plinom in vodo (za 0,1 %), število zaposlenih v predelovalnih dejavnostih pa je ostalo v tej primerjavi na enaki ravni. In April 2004 the number of persons in paid employment in industrial activities decreased by 0.1% compared to March 2004 and was thus down by 1.6% compared to April 2003 and by 1.1% compared to the average of 2003. Compared to March 2004 employment in mining and quarrying was down by 0.5%. The number of people employed in electricity, gas and water supply fell by 0.1%, while in manufacturing it remained the same as in March 2004. Produktivnost v aprilu je bila v primerjavi z lanskim povprečjem višja za 1,2 % in tudi produktivnost v prvih štirih mesecih letošnjega leta je bila večja kot v enakem lanskem obdobju, in sicer za 5 %.
