KAJ MOTIVIRA KNJIŽNIČARJE ZAPOSLENE V JAVNIH ZAVODIH Vera Gradišar in mag. Nada Češnovar, Centralna tehniška knjižnica Univerze v Ljubljani UDK 023-057:331.108.5 Povzetek Področje, ki ga imenujemo motivacija, je v neprofitnih organizacijah, med katere sodijo tudi javni zavodi, dokaj zapostavljeno. Največkrat se o tem razmišlja na način, da ob predpisanih plačah in sistemu napredovanja ni drugih sredstev, s katerimi bi zaposlene lahko motivirali. Namen tega prispevka je prikazati, da dobro in uspešno delo zaposlenih, s katerim dosegamo tudi cilje delovanja organizacij, ni odvisno samo od denarja. Že z dokaj enostavnimi vprašalniki je mogoče opredeliti faktorje, ki motivirajo. V prispevku je na kratko opredeljen pomen javnih zavodov, upravljanje in poslovodenje zavodov, področja, ki so v delovanju le-teh predpisana od zunaj in najbolj pogosto kontrolirana. Opredeljena je motivacija, dejavniki, ki vplivajo nanjo, Maslovvova motivacijska teorija in Herzbergova dvofaktorska teorija. V četrtem poglavju pa je podano nekaj več o kadrih v knjižnicah, o rezultatih ankete izpeljane na osnovi Herzbergove dvofatorske teorije in nekaj usmeritev, kako za motivacijo uporabiti vse različne možnosti, ki jih imamo na voljo. UDC 023-057:331.108.5 Summary The area called motivation in not-for-profit organizations - including public enterprises - has been rather neglected. Most often the opinion prevails that apart from fixed salaries and system of promotion, there are no other ways of motiva ting staff. The aim of this article is to point out that this is not the čase, and that successful and efficient work of the staff which is necessary for the attainment of the goals of the organization, does not depend only on money. Motivating factors can be assessed by means of simple questionnaires. The articlebriefly defines the siginficance of public enterprises, their management and operation, areas which are mainly defined and controlled from outside. Motivation, factors affecting it, Maslow's theory of motivation and Herzberg's bifactorial theory are described. The fourth chapter brings some more on human resources in libraries and on the inquiry carried out on the basis of Herzberg's bifactorial theory; some directions on how we can use ali the different factors at our disposal are added as well.
