Crosslinking of low molecular weight polymers requires special attentions since greater number of bond must be formed to crosslink the resin binder as in the classical paint systems. The influence of the temperature and catalyst on crosslinking reactions was followed by FTIR spectriscopy in -OH terminated polyester/hexamethoxymethyl melamine clearcoat.The main reaction of transetherification between hydroxy groups on polyester and methoxy groups on melamine was accompanied by several side competative reactions"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Ekološki problemi pospešujejo uporabo premaznih sredstev z nizko vsebnostjo organskih topil. V tovrstnih premaznih sredstvih se uporabljajo veziva z nizkomolsko maso, pri katerih mora v času zamreževanja nastati več novih vezi,kot pri klasičnih premazih. Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti vpliv temperature in količine dodanega katalizatorja na potek zamrežebvanja -OH funkcionalnega poliestra s heksametoksimetil melaminom z uporabo FTIR spektroskopije. Ugotovili smo, da istočasno poteka lahko več reakcij.
