Simultaneously, their position as the main breadwinner challenges male provider norms, reshaping gender relations and power dynamics within partnerships. Tradicionalna vloga mobilnih oskrbovalk kot primarnih skrbnic se kljub njihovi začasni odsotnosti ohranja, kar temelji na trdni zavezanosti vzorcu “samožrtvujočega mikromatriarhata”. Hkrati njihov položaj glavnih hranilk družine postavlja pod vprašaj tradicionalne norme, po katerih naj bi moški preživljali družino, ter preoblikuje razmerja med spoloma in dinamiko moči v partnerskih odnosih.
