This paper presents the catalogues relevant for carrying out the manual stocktaking which took place at the National and University Library in the years 2010-2014. Only those catalogues are outlined which assist in the successful completion of stocktaking in closed stacks, where the materials are arranged by running number (numerus currens). The catalogues of special collections are not included since special collections employ different systems of collection management and shelf arrangement. The paper also presents bibliographic records that were created in the early days of the COBISS system and those incorporated by subsequent retrospective conversion, as they tend to slow down the progress of stocktaking analysis. As the COBISS system has evolved over time, the understanding of old bibliographic records is crucial to high-quality implementation of stocktaking and also in providing information regarding the materials that have not yet been processed according to the latest bibliographic standards. An overview of the most important catalogues and the development of bibliographic records through time can be of great use to all larger libraries that have not yet recorded all the materials in the COBISS system, and it will be of special use for further implementation of stocktaking at the National and University LibraryKnjižnična inventura je postopek, ki ga knjižnice uporabljajo, ko ugotavljajo, ali se stanje knjižničnega fonda ujema s stanjem v knjižničnih evidencah. V članku so predstavljene knjižnične evidence, pomembne za ročno izvedbo inventure, ki je potekala v Narodni in univerzitetni knjižnici v letih 2010-2014. Opisane evidence pomagajo pri uspešni izvedbi inventure v zaprtem skladišču, kjer je gradivo postavljeno po sistemu tekočega številčenja (numerus currens). Izvzete so evidence posebnih zbirk, ki imajo drugačen sistem vodenja zbirke in postavitve gradiva. Prikazani so tudi bibliografski zapisi, ki so nastali v začetni fazi sistema COBISS in kasneje z retrospektivno konverzijo, saj otežujejo analizo inventure. Zaradi razvoja sistema COBISS je razumevanje starih bibliografskih zapisov pomembno za kvalitetno izvedbo inventure in tudi za dajanje informacij o gradivu, ki ni obdelano po zadnjih bibliografskih standardih.
