It argues that Disney's adaptations of the canonized literary works for children rest not only on the perpetuation and exacerbation of gendered binaries that proliferate in the original literary texts but also on the introduction of racialized discourse not found in the originals. This leads to a specific transmutation of literary works under consideration"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek na podlagi spoja feministične literarne teorije in postkolonialne literarne vede analizira Disneyjeve priredbe kanoniziranih literarnih del, kot so Mala morska deklica, Pokahonta in Aladin. Zanje je značilno, da stare kolonialne diskurze preoblačijo v posodobljene neokolonialne izpeljanke, v katere vgrajujejo koncept multikulturne pluralnosti in navidezno profeministični govor o emancipaciji žensk.
