There is a distinction between forest areas with direct and indirect protection function in Slovenia. S podatki podatkovnih zbirk Zavoda za gozdove Slovenije smoanalizirali prekrivanje območij s poudarjeno varovalno funkcijo in poudarjeno zaščitno funkcijo.
