For Triglav national park area were harmonised analogue maps, aerial photographs, and digital datasets since the end of 18th century until present. Major drawbacks were uncommon map legends (and catalogues), different surveying and mapping techniques, poor information of map projections, and rough and diverse alpine area. Time series land use dataset was extracted and adapted with a backward editing method. The procedures for maps editing and quality assessment simplified decision-making of data usage for the further analyses. The study get clearer understanding of technical parameters and semantic properties of historical maps together with interpreted GIS-based land use datasets"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Stare karte so eden najpomembnejših virov podatkov za prostorske analize preteklega okolja. Za območje Triglavskega narodnega parka smo poenotili karte, letalske posnetke in druge digitalne prostorske podatke od konca 18. stoletja do danes. Glavne težave so povzročale neenotne legende (in objektni katalogi), različne tehnike kartiranja in merjenja, nezadostne informacije o projekcijah ter razgibano in raznoliko alpsko površje. Z metodo obratnega urejanja je bila izdelana časovna vrsta slojev rabe tal. Opisani postopki obdelave kart ter ocenjevanja kakovosti so poenostavili odločanje o načinu uporabe podatkov za nadaljnje analize.
