Especially it examines the prints that influenced Dolničar's manuscript Descriptio nobilissimae urbis Venetiae (1703), including description of a travel from Gorizia to Venice, panegyric on Venice, descriptions of some important churches, and lots of drawings. At the end it reconstructs his relations with political, religious, and artistic heritage of the Serenissima. Methodology/approach: the historical method, based on a critical source study. Results: new findings about Aleš Žiga Dolničar and the Academia operosorum established throughout the study of up till now unresearched sources. Research limitation: manuscripts and books in the Seminary Library in Ljubljana. Originality/practical implications: original contribution to the history of Baroque culture in Carniola"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Namen: razprava se ukvarja z rokopisi in knjigami ljubljanskega plemiča Aleša Žige Dolničarja in drugih članov baročne Akademije operozov v Semeniški knjižnici v Ljubljani, ki so v zvezi z  Beneško republiko. Predvsem ugotavlja, kateri tiski so vplivali na Dolničarjev rokopis Descriptio nobilissimae urbis Venetiae iz leta 1703, ki vsebuje opis potovanja iz Gorice v Benetke, hvalnico mestu, opis nekaterih pomembnih cerkva in vrsto risb. Obenem rekonstruira njegov odnos do politične, verske in umetnostne dediščine Serenissime. Metodologija/pristop: historična metoda, oprta na kritično preučevanje virov. Rezultati: nova spoznanja o Alešu Žigi Dolničarju in Akademiji operozov, pridobljena pri preučevanju doslej neraziskanih virov. Omejitve raziskave: rokopisi in knjige v Semeniški knjižnici v Ljubljani.
