In order to determine the actual state of sports infrastructure for the purposes of university sports in the Republic of Slovenia, we restricted ourselves to the University of Ljubljana, the University of Maribor and the University of Primorska (we described the actual state of sports infrastructure for each university separately). The development of university sports in the Republic of Slovenia is inextricably to improvement of sports infrastructure for the purposes of university sports. For this reason, it is necessary to provide long-term systemic planning of the construction, maintenance and optimal management of sports infrastructure, which should be owned by Slovenian universitiesEden od temeljnih pogojev za razvoj univerzitetnega športa v Republiki Sloveniji je primerna športna infrastruktura (športni objekti) za potrebe univerzitetnega športa. Za ugotovitev dejanskega stanja športne infrastrukture za potrebe univerzitetnega športa v Republiki Sloveniji smo se omejili na Univerzo v Ljubljani, Univerzo v Mariboru in Univerzo na Primorskem (dejansko stanje športne infrastrukture smo opisali za vsako univerzo posebej). Razvoj univerzitetnega športa v Republiki Sloveniji je neločljivo povezan z izboljšanjem športne infrastrukture za potrebe univerzitetnega športa.
