Thus, in central Slovenia, in the forests below mountain Krim, we still find old boundary marks representing today's cadastral municipality of Preserje, which are based on the former border between the Bistra Carthusian monastery and the Ig estate from 1726. The preserved boundary marks are about 80 cm high, have carved sequential letters, the year 1726 and coats of arms of the Bistra and the earls Engelshaus (the owners of the Ig estate at that time). In 1748, this boundary was adopted as the boundary between the Notranjska (Inner) and the Gorenjska (Upper) districts of the Carniola region in the Habsburg Monarchy. At the time of the Franciscan cadastral survey in 1823 it was adopted as cadastral municipality border. On the Franciscan cadastral maps, we found eleven locations marked with 1726 and letters from B to M. Today, at these locations, we still find two original, two destroyed original boundary marks and three later replaced boundary marks without any inscriptions or coats of arms. We also examined locations on even older eastern border of the Bistra Carthusian monastery, where mainly post-war trigonometric points of lower orders can be found today; only on the hill Smrekovec under Rakitna another older boundary mark without inscriptions or coats of arms is still preservedMeje še danes veljavnih katastrskih občin pogosto potekajo po veliko starejših lastniških mejah fevdalnih gospostev. Tako v osrednji Sloveniji v gozdovih pod Krimom najdemo mejnike današnje katastrske občine Preserje, ki temeljijo na nekdanji meji med kartuzijo Bistra in gospostvom Ig iz leta 1726. Namen prispevka je predstaviti ohranjene mejnike na tem območju. Ohranjeni mejniki so visoki okrog 80 centimetrov in okrašeni z grboma kartuzije Bistre in gofov Engelshausov (takratni lastniki gospostva Ig), zaporedno črko ter letnico 1726. Leta 1748 so to mejo privzeli kot mejo med notranjskim in gorenjskim okrožjem dežele Kranjske v habsburški monarhiji. Nato so jo v okviru franciscejske katastrske izmere leta 1823 prevzeli kot mejo katastrskih občin, to vlogo pa je ohranila vse do danes. Na franciscejskih katastrskih načrtih najdemo enajst lokacij mejnih kamnov, oštevilčenih z letnico 1726 in zaporedno črko od B do M. Danes na teh lokacijah še vedno najdemo dva originalna mejnika, okrašena z grbi in letnico 1726, dva uničena originalna mejnika ter tri verjetno zamenjane mejnike brez napisov in grbov.
