In the village of Bertoki, where Italian and Slovenian speakers live, the Istrian Slovenian and Istrian Venetian linguis-tic areas meet. Šared (near the town of Izola) represents a boundary between the Romance and Slavic linguistic worlds: to the north of the village there is only the Istrian Venetian dialect, and to the east and southwest only the Šavrini and Rižana subdialects. Pomjan is located in the heart of the Šavrini Hills and is quite far from the Romance linguistic world.Keywords: Slovenian Istria, dialect bilingualism, dialect monolingualism, Romance lexemes"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V raziskavi, ki se opira na terensko dialektološko gradivo, smo želeli ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri so stičnost, bližina ali oddaljenost slovanskega in romanskega jezikovnega območja vplivale na rabo romanizmov v izbranih slovenskih istrskih govorih. V kraju Bertoki, kjer živijo narečno italijansko in slovensko govoreči domačini, se namreč istrskoslovensko in istrskobeneško govorno območje prepletata, Šared predstavlja (na Izolskem) mejnik med romanskim in slovanskim jezikovnim svetom – severno od kraja obstaja le istrskobeneško narečje, vzhodno in jugozahodno pretežno le šavrinski in rižanski govori, Pomjan pa se nahaja v osrčju šavrinskega sveta in je znatno oddaljen od romanskega jezikovnega okolja.
