First, based on the relevant literature we define the basic concepts related to work commitment and work productivity as well as their relevance for business outcomes. Next, we provide a short overview of some of the studies focusing on the relation between work commitment and work productivity. The second part summarises our own empirical research results on the relation between work commitment and work productivity in a chosen company, conducted using a survey based on the Gallup Q12 questionnaire methodology. The results confirm that work commitment is highly significant for work productivity and, consequently, for business outcomes of the company. In addition, multiple regression analysis results confirm a statistically significant impact of age, education level and work location on employees’ work commitment level</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V članku predstavljamo rezultate raziskave, ki obravnava povezanost delovne produktivnosti in delovne zavzetosti zaposlenih v podjetju X. Najprej na podlagi relevantne literature opredelimo osnovne pojme, povezane z delovno zavzetostjo in delovno produktivnostjo, ter njihov pomen za poslovne izide. Poleg tega so rezultati multiple regresijske analize potrdili statistično značilen vpliv starosti, stopnje izobrazbe in lokacije dela zaposlenih na stopnjo njihove delovne zavzetosti</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-Y1982EC4"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-Y1982EC4" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-Y1982EC4/a42f6aad-2795-4304-a364-94e09766a419/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza na Primorskem, Fakulteta za management</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-Y1982EC4/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-Y1982EC4" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
