In the first place, it deals with Bakhtin's assumptions on monologic nature of poetry and refutates them by his later concepts of metalinguistics. In the second part, it presents Ducrot's transfer of literary dialogism into the field of general linguistics outlining a short comparison with some key elements developed by Benveniste in his theory of enunciationČlanek obravnava Bahtinovo dialoškost in Ducrotovo polifonično teorijo izjavljanja kot možni teoretski izhodišči za rekonstrukcijo pojma lirski subjekt. V prvem delu predstavi Bahtinove teze o monološkosti poezije in jih ovrže s koncepti Bahtinove metalingvistike.
