It proceeds from the observation that the traditional understanding of military chaplaincy as a confessionally organised form of pastoral care is no longer sufficient for analysing spiritual care practices in plural, secularised and operationally complex military environments. Drawing on a literature review and qualitative comparative analysis, the article develops a typology of three basic models of military spiritual care: the confessional model, the functional-plural model and the plural-liberal model. Particular attention is paid to hybrid arrangements, which combine elements of different models and are manifested at legal, organisational, functional and identity-related levels. The typological framework is applied to the analysis of arrangements in the post-Yugoslav space, with particular emphasis on the Slovenian model as a transitional hybrid arrangement. The article argues that contemporary military spiritual care is increasingly developing at the intersection of religious care, ethical counselling, existential support and functional embeddedness within broader systems of support for members of the armed forces</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek obravnava modele vojaške duhovne oskrbe in njihovo preoblikovanje v sodobnih oboroženih silah. Prispevek na podlagi pregleda literature in kvalitativne primerjalne analize oblikuje tipologijo treh modelov vojaške duhovne oskrbe: konfesionalni model, funkcionalno-pluralni model in pluralno-liberalni model. Prispevek ugotavlja, da se sodobna vojaška duhovna oskrba razvija med versko oskrbo, etičnim svetovanjem, eksistencialno podporo in funkcionalno vpetostjo v širše sisteme za podporo pripadnikom oboroženih sil</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO1POVNO"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO1POVNO" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO1POVNO/4ac30b6e-c403-4ffa-9bb8-f9ad74c4f96e/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Teološka fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO1POVNO/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO1POVNO" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
