It proceeds from the specifics of the journalistic profession that, unlike other professions, it is not based on the relationship between the service provider and the client, but on the principle of publicness; precisely because of the specific nature of journalism, the media (starting with the press) developed as an organ of the public and a pillar of the public sphere. Digitalisation increases the influence of non-journalistic actors in defining the “boundaries of journalistic territory”, which may on the one hand indicate the socialisation and democratisation of the journalistic profession, but on the other hand, it threatens its value rationality and subordinates it to instrumental rationality, thus reducing its autonomy and leading to the processes of deprofessionalisation and pauperisation of journalism</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Članek obravnava novinarstvo kot liberalni poklic sui generis in njegovo transformacijo v času ekonomije pozornosti. Digitalizacija povečuje vpliv nenovinarskih akterjev v določanju »meja novinarskega ozemlja«, kar po eni strani lahko nakazuje podružbljanje in demokratizacijo novinarskega poklica, po drugi pa ogroža njegovo vrednotno racionalnost in ga podreja instrumentalni racionalnosti, s tem zmanjšuje njegovo avtonomijo ter vodi v procese deprofesionalizacije in pavperizacije novinarstva</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO0NTV6K"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO0NTV6K" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO0NTV6K/bce3-19286-ae5-4f68d4a3258b8015b2e8-/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Evropski inštitut za komuniciranje in kulturo - EURICOM</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO0NTV6K/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XO0NTV6K" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
