This article presents the results of a qualitative analysis of in-depth interviews with healthcare workers directly involved in organ donation and transplantation. It shows the diversity of attitudes held by healthcare workers regarding this specific field of medicine, with the main findings highlighting the specificities and potential vulnerabilities of the Slovenian system. There is potential for the formalised inclusion of different health profiles in the country’s donor and transplant system, and for questioning the organ donation consent system and the educational gaps concerning donor medicine</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Zdravstveni delavci so v sistemu donorske in transplantacijske medicine (DTM) ključni ne le za izvajanje medicinskih postopkov, ampak lahko njihov odnos do darovanja organov po smrti vpliva na pripravljenost ljudi za darovanje organov po smrti, kar je prvi pogoj za izvajanje dejavnosti. Prispevek predstavlja izsledke kvalitativne analize poglobljenih intervjujev z zdravstvenimi delavci, neposredno vključenimi v donorsko in transplantacijsko medicino. Prikazuje raznolikost stališč in odnosov zdravstvenih delavcev do te specifične veje medicine, ključne ugotovitve pa opozarjajo na posebnosti in morebitne ranljivosti slovenskega sistema donorske in transplantacijske dejavnosti, potencial formaliziranega vključevanja različnih zdravstvenih profilov v sistem DTM, prevpraševanje obstoječega sistema soglasja za darovanje organov po smrti v Sloveniji ter pomanjkljivosti pri izobraževanju zdravstvenih delavcev o donorski dejavnosti</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-XHZNLGQP"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-XHZNLGQP" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XHZNLGQP/05b571bf-2cb1-4517-9850-45d86b1d0b96/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XHZNLGQP/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-XHZNLGQP" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
