One of the consequences of the ‘performative turn’ in the performing arts (Fischer-Lichte) is the prevalence of the contingency of the theatrical event in aesthetic experience, to the detriment of mimesis. Thus, in contrast to the illusion of reality in representation, the real presence of the audience and the artists is accentuated. How, then, does the dramatic text – which is mimetic by nature – reflect the primacy of the real over representation? Specifically, how does contemporary dramaturgy adopt the assumptions of the performative turn when dealing with the theme of violence? The paper will analyze the construction of the self-referential in Bárbara Colio’s play Usted está aquí, in order to understand the mechanisms through which dramatic writing contributes to the emergence of a “theatrical conviviality” (Dubatti) of audience and artist around the experience of violence in northern Mexico</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V članku raziskujemo, kako se v španskoameriški dramatiki ugledališči nasilje. V prispevku analiziramo, kako se v drami Usted está aquí mehiške avtorice Bárbare Colio konstruira avtoreferenčnost, da bi razumeli mehanizme, s katerimi dramska pisava prispeva k nastanku »gledališke konvivialnosti« (Dubatti) občinstva in umetnikov o izkušnji nasilja v severni Mehiki</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-WXFFA8Z4"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-WXFFA8Z4" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-WXFFA8Z4/347c0915-061a-4b33-8e8f-d91f73dc57d8/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Filozofska fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-WXFFA8Z4/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-WXFFA8Z4" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
