Also provisions concerning enforcement of protective and interim measures, adopted in domestic and foreign arbitrations are new. In regard to recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, the changes are not so substantial, since the New York Convention has been in force in Slovenia already before. The author discusses the grounds for refusal of exequatur as well as the procedural issues. Thereby it is assessed not only in view of the statutory regulation but foremost in the view of the existing case-law whether Slovenia is an "arbitration friendly" jurisdictionNovi Zakon o arbitraži je z uvedbo obveznega postopka eksekvature zelo spremenil ureditev izvršitve domačih arbitražnih odločb. Nove so tudi določbe o izvršitvi domačih in tujih zavarovalnih in začasnih ukrepov arbitraže. Glede priznanja in izvršitve tujih arbitražnih odločb sprejem ZArbit ni prinesel tako pomembnih novosti, saj je že prej veljala ureditev po Newyorški konvenciji iz leta 1958. Avtor obravnava vprašanja vsebinske presoje pogojev za eksekvaturo ter postopka.
