Drawing on anthropological f ieldwork and a detailed analysis of three semi-structured interviews – conducted respectively with a refugee, an economic migrant, and a love migrant – the study presents immigrants' perceptions of the integration process and identifies the key obstacles they consistently describe, despite their diverse backgrounds. These shared challenges concern linguistic integration, economic integration and employment, social integration, access to essential information, and experiences of discrimination, including both biological and cultural forms of racism"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V članku je predstavljeno, kako priseljenci v Mariboru razumejo svojo priselitev v Slovenijo in razloge zanjo ter kako ocenjujejo svoje življenje v Sloveniji ter lastno integracijo v slovensko družbo. Skozi analizo zbranega terenskega gradiva so skozi natančno predstavitev in analizo treh poglobljenih polstrukturiranih intervjujev – eden je bil izveden z beguncem, eden z ekonomsko priseljenko in eden z ljubezensko priseljenko – predstavljeni njihovo dojemanje lastne integracije v slovensko družbo ter ključne ovire, ki jih ne glede na različne države, iz katerih prihajajo, izkušajo kot skupne.
