Their analysis offers noninvasive inspection of the tissue or organ of their origin. The paper reviews contemporary use of quantitative and qualitative analysis of cellfree nucleic acids in laboratory medicine. The first part sumarises chronologic development of major analytical approaches to cell-free nucleic acids analysisin the case of medical assessment of lung cancer patients. The second part presents the use of cell-free nucleic acids analysis in noninvasive diagnosis of gene and genome alterations of the fetus and diseases and complications of pregnancy. The last part indicates the prominent examples of its use in the other areas of laboratory medicine. Analiza zunajceličnih nukleinskih kislin v laboratorijski medicini pomeni sodobno raziskovalno orodje, zanimiv strokovni izziv ter alternativo oziroma dopolnilo analitiki proteinov</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-WAV4JKX1"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-WAV4JKX1" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-WAV4JKX1/500cc3c1-6477-4230-b85f-39626b3a9217/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovensko farmacevtsko društvo</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-WAV4JKX1/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-WAV4JKX1" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
