Atomized powders and rapidly solidified ribbons are in further proceeding mostly subjected to high temperature treatments (sintering, extrusion, etc.). Consequently, it is clear that the stability of the microstructure and coarsening resistance of the strengthening particles are of great importance. In researching the high temperature microstructure stability of the rapidly solidified Cu-Zr alloy, the kinetic and activation energy or the growth of dispersed intermetallic particles were determined. The results presented in this paper show that particles coarsen by bulk diffusion controlled with the diffusivity of zirconium and the 3~t relationship was obtained at all temperatures of the experiment</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">S postopkom hitrega strjevanja lahko v zlitinskih sistemih zmanjšamo stopnjo izcejanja in velikosti zrn, ali pa dosežemo celo prenasičeno trdno raztopino. Atomizirani prahovi in hitro strjeni trakovi so v nadaljevanju procesa navadno izpostavljeni visokim temperaturam (sintranje, ekstruzija, itd.). Uporabna vrednost hitrega strjevanja je zato pri posameznem zlitinskem sistemu pogosto odvisna tudi od visokotemperaturne stabilnosti hitro strjene mikrostrukture in odpornosti delcev utrjevalne faze na rast. Z raziskavami visokotemperaturne stabilnosti mikrostrukture hitro strjenih trakov smo za zlitino Cu-Zr določili kinetiko in aktivacijsko energijo rasti delcev intermetalne faze.
