Based on the results of two experimental tests from cyclic shear tests a detailed micro numerical model based on the finite element method was developed in the Abaqus software. The developed model was able to accurately predict the global response of the walls in terms of a force- displacement pushover curve as well as the damage evolution and pattern in the masonry and in the tie-columns. Because the tie-columns were thinner than the masonry, special type of damage occurred at the contact between these two elements. This effect was also successfully reproduced by the model</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Z naprednim numeričnim modelom smo raziskovali potresni odziv sodobnega povezanega zidovja iz votlakov z velikimi luknjami za toplotno izolacijo, ki je zlepljeno s poliuretanskim lepilom namesto z malto. Razvoj numeričnega modela je temeljil na eksperimentalnih rezultatih dveh testov zidov pri ciklični strižni obtežbi s konstantno tlačno obremenitvijo, za modeliranje pa smo uporabili program Abaqus. Razviti 3D-model je dobro napovedal globalni odziv v obliki potisne krivulje sila-pomik ter razvoj in vrsto poškodb v zidovju in v zidnih vezeh. Ker so bile navpične zidne vezi tanjše od zidovja, so se na stiku zidovja in vezi pojavile posebne poškodbe.
