Methods: Seventy-six patients attending outpatient occupational therapy and physiotherapy at the University Rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana were included in the study. They were assessed either by DASH or its shorter version QuickDASH at the beginning and at the end of therapy. Both instruments yielded a score ranging between 0 (indicating no disability) and 100 (maximum disability). Results: The improvement after therapy was statistically significant for the whole sample as well as for individual diagnostic groups. In 41% of patients the improvement exceeded Minimum Detectable change of 12.5 points. On average, the improvement was higher in patients with more disability at the beginning (r=0,24). Conclusions: In terms of sensitivity to change, DASH and QuickDASH are suitable instruments for assessing patients with upper limb disability in outpatient rehabilitation practice</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Izhodišče: Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, ali je vprašalnik %Funkcionalnost zgornje okončine, ramena in roke% (Disability of Arm, Shoulder and Hand; DASH) primeren za ocenjevanje napredka po ambulantni rehabilitacijski obravnavi pacientov z zmanjšanimi zmožnostmi roke. Zaključki: Instrumenta DASH in QuickDASH sta se z vidika občutljivosti za spremembe pokazala kot ustrezna za uporabo v ambulantni rehabilitacijski praksi pri pacientih z boleznijo ali poškodbo zgornjega uda</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-VZDMPA3Z"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-VZDMPA3Z" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-VZDMPA3Z/e68ca194-7d78-4943-a96a-05623edd7ae5/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut RS – Soča</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-VZDMPA3Z/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-VZDMPA3Z" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
