The introduction presents some previous publications and starting points regarding the Ljubljana Franciscan monastery library and the collection as well as the basic hypothesis. It is followed by an overview of the monastery library history from its beginnings to 18th century, including p. Škerpin's biography and a short state-of-the-art overview. An overview of the methodological approaches to collection research is presented next, followed by the analysis, namely the general qualitative and quantitative findings about the collection and the main bookbinding and edges decoration characteristics"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku so predstavljene okoliščine nastanka ter temeljne ugotovitve o knjižni zbirki, ki jo je za potrebe ljubljanskega frančiškanskega samostana v prvi polovici 18. stoletja pridobil p. Žiga Škerpin (1689-1755). V uvodu je podan kratek oris predhodnih izhodišč za raziskavo zbirke, predstavljene pa so tudi osnovne hipoteze. Temu sledita predstavitev zgodovine ljubljanske frančiškanske knjižnice od začetkov do 18. stoletja, ki vključuje tudi kratek življenjepis p. Žige Škerpina ter kratek opis trenutnega stanja in ureditve gradiva v knjižnici.
