It is also true that when learning movement technique, we learn movement coordination at the same time. Movement coordination also has a positive impact on some perceptual and cognitive abilities. In school physical education, more emphasis should be placed on the development and measurement of movement coordination. It makes sense to measure the dominant type of movement coordination, which is part of movement knowledge and is manifested with the help of other movement skills. At the same time, it is the most strongly represented in the content of physical education, so it is the easiest to control and measure. These facts direct us to a different approach when measuring movement coordination in school physical education, namely the level of development of movement coordination in the secondary school population can be evaluated by the level of adoption of specific movement skills. Monitoring and verification of elements of such movement knowledge would be in the domain of sports education teachers, and the objectivity of their assessments would be further verified with national SLOfit measurements"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Različne oblike gibalne koordinacije omogočajo učinkovito usvajanje gibalnega znanja, s katerim mladi bogatijo svoj prosti čas v obdobju življenja. Prav tako velja, da pri usvajanju gibalne tehnike hkrati usvajamo gibalno koordinacijo. Gibalna koordinacija ima pozitiven vpliv tudi na nekatere perceptivne in kognitivne sposobnosti. Pri šolski športni vzgoji bi moral biti večji poudarek na razvoju in merjenju gibalne koordinacije. Smiselno je meriti dominantni tip gibalne koordinacije, ki je del gibalnega znanja in se manifestira s pomočjo drugih gibalnih sposobnosti. Hkrati je ta najmočneje zastopana pri vsebinah športne vzgoje, zato jo je najlažje nadzorovati in izmeriti. Ta dejstva nas usmerjajo k drugačnemu pristopu pri merjenju gibalne koordinacije pri šolski športni vzgoji, namreč stopnjo razvitosti gibalne koordinacije pri srednješolski populaciji lahko vrednotimo s stopnjo usvojenosti specifičnih gibalnih znanj.
