These texts carry out a countermapping of power by attending to spaces marked by endemic violence:Yemen, Ethiopia, Somalia and Palestine. Both of them utilize “forensic writing” and pay special attention to myth (Restrepo) and autoethnography (Meruane)V prispevku osvetlimo, kako dve pomembni sodobni deli, Canción de antiguos amantes (2022) kolumbijske avtorice Laure Restrepo in Palestina en pedazos(2021) čilske pisateljice Line Meruane, razkrijeta moralno slepoto, značilno za naš čas. V ta namen proti-kartirata oblast, ko se posvečata prostorom,zaznamovanim z nasiljem, za katere se uveljavljajo slabe rešitve – Jemen, Eti-opija, Somalija, Palestina.
