Borut Bohte (1932–2024)| in memoriam|Professor Emeritus Dr. Borut Bohte (1932–2024) served as a long-standing head of the Department of International Law and the Institute of International Law and International Relations at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. More importantly, he was an outstanding teacher who inspired numerous young individuals to pursue careers in international law and provided meticulous guidance along this path. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the Slovenian legal landscape and beyond. Dr Bohte was also an exceptional mentor to numerous generations of lawyers and diplomats. His professional and scientific endeavours, which spanned across two states—the former Yugoslavia and independent Slovenia—as well as his contributions on the international stage, particularly within the United Nations, place him among the giants of international law in our regionZasl. prof. dr. Borut Bohte (1932–2024) je bil dolgoletni predstojnik Katedre za mednarodno pravo ter Inštituta za mednarodno pravo in mednarodne odnose Pravne fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani, predvsem pa odličen pedagog, ki je mnoge mlade spodbudil, da se karierno posvetijo mednarodnemu pravu, ter številne skrbno vodil na tej poti. S svojimi deli je pustil neizbrisen pečat v slovenskem pravnem prostoru in onkraj njegovih meja. Bil je tudi izjemen mentor številnim generacijam pravnikov in diplomatov.
