In previous linguistic research, there was no particular interest in analyzing this suffixoid, while in Slavic languages there is no unique native suffix to denote killing or destruction, which is why the process of borrowing terminological lexicon began. The aim of this study is: 1. to identify words ending with the suffixoid -cid in dictionaries of the three standards; 2. to define the meanings of those words ending with -cid that are not part of the existing dictionary stock; 3. to determine their frequency in electronic corpora on the CLARIN platform. Keywords: loanwords, adaptation, word origin, hybrids, terminological lexicon"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"U bosanskom, hrvatskom i srpskom jezičkom standardu pojavljuju se riječi koje završavaju sufiksoidom -cid, koji je, ustvari, alomorf korijena -cid latinskih glagola caedo, 3., cecidi, caesum, što znači sjeći, posjeći, udarati, šibati i occido, 3., occisi, occisum u značenju ubiti. U dosadašnjim lingvističkim istraživanjima sufiksalne tvorbe riječi nije postojao interes za analizom ovog sufiksoida, dok u slavenskim jezicima ne postoji unikatan domaći sufiks kojim bi se označilo ubijanje ili uništenje, pa je iz tog razloga započeo proces posuđivanja terminološke leksike. Cilj rada je: 1) Izdvojiti riječi koje završavaju sufiksoidom -cid u rječnicima triju standarda; 2) Definirati značenja onih riječi koje završavaju sufiksoidom -cid, a koje nisu dio postojećeg rječničkog fonda; 3) Utvrditi njihovu frekventnost u elektronskim korpusima na Clarin platformi. Ključne riječi: posuđenice, adaptacija, porijeklo riječi, hibridi, terminološka leksika"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V dosedanjih jezikoslovnih raziskavah ni bilo posvečenega posebnega poudarka sufiksoidu -cid, čeprav slovanski jeziki nimajo izvornega sufiksa za izražanje umora, iztrebljanja ali uničenja. Pomanjkanje takšnega tvorbenega sredstva je privedlo do izposojanja latinskih izrazov, pri čemer so bili elementi, kot sta -cidium in -cida, prilagojeni v neoklasičnih tvorjenkah, kasneje pa so se skrajšali preko romanskih jezikov in angleščine. Prvi del sestavljanke ima običajno atributivno funkcijo in opisuje vrsto umora ali uničenja, s čimer določa pomen celotnega leksema. Analiza korpusov kaže, da so določeni leksemi s sufiksoidom -cid dobro uveljavljeni in frekventni v sodobnih jezikih, kar velja predvsem za tiste, ki označujejo ubijanje ljudi (genocid, suicid, femicid), in uničevanje živali, rastlin ter mikroorganizmov (pesticid, herbicid, fungicid, insekticid).
