The author analyses the content of collective agreements in the private sector and notes that they in most cases made use of the new possibilities for derogation of regulations in the direction of greater flexibility and reduction of labour cost (in peius), but on the other hand there is no comprehensive regulation of measures which would address some present challenges of the labour market such as reconciliation of professional and family life, gender equality, aging of the employed and non-typical forms of employmentEden od osrednjih ciljev reforme trga dela leta 2013 je bil povečati vlogo kolektivnih pogajanj pri dograjevanju zakonskega sistema varne prožnosti (flexicurity).
