Afterwards, the limit will be 600 mg/m3. The emissions of the Power Plant Ljubljana have often exceeded the stated limiting values. After the reconstruction of the firing system of boiler 3, which was carried out using knowledge from abroad, it was necessary to reconstruct the firing systems of boilers 1 and 2, which remained the main sources of NOx and CO emissions. The reconstruction based on domestic knowledge was carried out by experts from the Power Plant Ljubljana and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ljubljana. The paper describes the essence of the reconstruction and its results. Besides lower emissions there was also a significant improvement in the efficiencies of the boilers</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Do konca leta 2007 bo v Sloveniji dovoljena emisija NOx znasala 650 mg/m3, od 2008 naprej pa 600 mg/m3, za kurilne naprave z moejo od 50 do 500 MW. V Termoelektrarni toplarni Ljubljana, katere emisije so pogosto presegale zgoraj napisane meje, je bilo potrebno izvesti rekonstrukcijo zgorevalnih sistemov kotlov 1 in 2. Po rekonstrukciji zgorevalnega sistema kotla 3, ki je bila izvedena z uvoženim znanjem, sta bila kotla 1 in 2 glavna vira emisij NOx in CO. Rekonstrukcija je bila na obeh kotlih v celoti izvedena z znanjem strokovnjakov Termoelektrarne toplarne Ljubljana in Fakultete za strojnistvo Ljubljana.
